I recently got back from a lovely vacation in Spain.
This was my sixth time there visiting family, and every time I go there, I have to go to Tablao Flamenco Arco de Cuchillros, in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid. Flamenco is a traditional Spanish dance, and this is a gem of a place to see it in. It will cost 20 euros to get in, and the admission price includes a snack (I got potato chips) and a drink — their sangria is heavenly. Each night features a variety of Spanish singers, dancers and music-makers, and the space is intimate enough to where you feel like you’re a part of the show. Check out a video I shot of a performance below, and let me know if you need directions when you go!
